Stumbling on the Home Selling Expert website was an absolute game changer for me.

I was super stressed and overwhelmed with trying to find the right way to sell my house - there were a number of complex issues to navigate. I was all set to go with a "we buy any house"  outfit and was drawn to Matt's company as he offered the opportunity to discuss various options.

After the initial call, I honestly felt that Matt had taken the time to find out what was important to me and what route would work best for me. There was no fee to pay up front, and the reassurance that if my needs were not met, I could cancel my contract gave me the confidence to go forward with Matt as I felt I had nothing to lose.

In the end I had everything to gain - Kirsty seamlessly dealt with a difficult sale situation, kept me regularly updated and achieved a very realistic price for me in super quick time.

Having solicitors on board, prepped and ready for sale also speeded up the process.

I initially got in touch with Home Selling Expert to explore auctioning my house as I needed a quick sale.

I was introduced to the Assisted Sale service by Matthew after in-depth discussions around the best way to achieve my goal.

He clearly explained the service and the selling process and left an open door to any other questions I may have.

I was then introduced to Kirsty who ran with the house sale through to completion. She managed everything, and crucially was always available for updates and questions. ‍

Communication was excellent as she navigated not only my estate agents and solicitors, but those involved in the chain - that was so important as the last few days before completion was hectic; I knew she was a safe pair of hands so trusted it would get done, and it was.

I do not hesitate to recommend this service - Matthew and Kirsty took care of my case effectively and with kindness and I am eternally grateful to them.

I was going to post my own account of my experience with Home Selling Expert, but I find that my daughter Rosie has said so much already that, apart from endorsing what Rosie has written, I have little to add but a few personal impressions.

I approached Home Selling Expert almost accidentally, as I was looking for a website which explained more fully the processes of home-selling.

I was particularly concerned about the types of auction available, whether "modern" or "traditional", and the fact that some of the estate agents I consulted seemed very keen on auction almost as a matter of course, rather than the more usual procedures one associates with estate agents.

Perhaps I had encountered a "New Wave" of estate agency! And in my attempts to find some elucidation on line I stumbled on Matthew Cooper's site, found it interesting, and soon made contact with Matthew himself, who turned out to be one of the most patient and clear explicators of the ins and outs of house-selling I had so far encountered.

Matthew was happy to include my daughter in our online discussions, and this enabled Rosie and me to confer together with full information on both sides.

As Rosie says, information was plainly given and all questions properly considered and clearly answered: also, the comparative expense of Matthew's method was made clear from the start, and we felt that there were no nasty surprises lurking for the unwary.

My contact throughout the process was Kirsty Burnham, who was simply excellent. Very patient, competent, hard-working, reliable, and very pleasant in her manner.

She took away all worries about this and that and dealt with every circumstance promptly and efficiently. For anyone involved in an unfamiliar and complicated financial and legal process this is exactly what one needs. Kirsty even offered and took time to help with finding removal firms to consult for quotations, far more than I had been able to come up with, and expressed herself willing to help in any other way.

So full marks to Home Selling Expert. The higher cost is reasonable in the light of the efficiency, clarity, expedience and friendliness which they bring to their service.

My father approached Home Selling Expert for advice on selling his home quickly to pay off a mortgage that was due. Matthew was extremely generous with his time and knowledge talking us both through the options estate agents had recommended, and recommending an alternative approach.

My father ended up actually using HSE's own selling service which is not advertised on their website. This turned out to be a great decision and the house was sold for a good price.

I was initially worried about selling the house through a firm that wasn't based in the local area. But Matthew reassured us they would actually advertise the house through 2 of the best local estate agents, which meant the agents had local knowledge, and also motivated each agent to work hard to be the one who made the sale!

Matthew researched local agents for us and arranged for valuations etc to make sure my father got the right agents for his property.

Matthew was extremely conscientious, responsible and thorough in talking through the best selling strategies, highly transparent and upfront about HSE's fees and service, and had an extremely clear and straightforward contract, no confusing small print.

The sale process was then handled by HSE's agent Kirsty, who was wonderful.

She jumped into action immediately, and my father had good offers within the first few days of viewings.

Kirsty was constantly in contact and making sure we were informed, she always did exactly what she promised, and right away.

She chased up buyers, estate agents, surveyors and solicitors, and handled all negotiation and communication.

She went above and beyond in helpfulness, such as helping find the right removals and storage company.

Matthew and Kirsty also supported my father in contact with his own mortgage company. Both were warm, friendly and reassuring throughout. It took a big weight off my mind knowing that my father was receiving the best support, advice and assistance through the whole process. Our trust in HSE both as advisers and selling agents was completely justified.

I was very happy with my decision to sell my flat through Home Selling Expert. They were extremely helpful and communications were daily and accurate… they worked very hard and fast (contrary to 3 real estate agents I tried before with zero result!)

After a referral from a friend that had used Matt’s expertise in the past I made the call.

It’s the best call I’ve made in a long time!

My house had been on the market over a year and I was really worrying about keeping payments up with the cost of living and having recently been widowed.

Matt offered me a few options that didn’t necessarily mean I used his services. There was no hard sell. He talked me through and then sent me through all details of what he could offer me. I will 100% use this company again when I want to sell a property, I won’t even go to an estate agent, straight to Matt!

Late last year, my partner and I had committed to a move back to the antipodes in three months time, however we had not sold our house!

I contacted Matt following my concerns over a contract I found myself locked into with a property buying company.

His knowledge, time, support and understanding was outstanding. He has been the first person to give me clarity and certainty over the situation and to discuss my options.

He has actively been involved in signposting me to a colleague that is willing to investigate my case and I feel I can contact him at any time if I need further advice or reassurance.
